E Club

DPS Newtown has organised groups of students who have their focus an interest in and concern for the environment. By becoming evolved in projects in the school and community, they acquire skills to identify, investigate and contribute to the resolution of environmental issues and problems. Students learn the concept of community service by working together to make a community a better place to live and they have fun as they explore their environment through recreations and service projects in communities.



Social Service Club

Students are made aware of their responsibilities and duties towards the society at large through various sensitization programmes like visiting Old Age Homes, Children's Homes and other social service organization.



Foreign Language Lessons

We, at DPS Newtown, believe that the world is like a global village and we intend to equip our students with the linguistic skills necessary to take on the world. The school offers five foreign language viz. French, Spanish, German, Italian and Japanese. Starting from Class-III, it is mandatory for a child to learn at least one foreign language and be able to fluently converse in the same.


Miscellaneous

We There are several activities in which the children participate throughout the year helping them to develop a well-rounded personality. Book Fairs, Activity Weeks, Co- Curricular Camps, Tours & Excursions and Workshops on relevant topics are organized for students on a regular basis.
