Parents may meet the Principal and Head Mistress on all working days within 08:30 A.M - 09:30 A.M with prior appointment. Parents are welcome to send Email to the school at info@dpsnewtownkolkata.com for any suggestions and queries. |

Ensure that all relevant details are duly filled in the personal data form in the Almanac in duplicate. |

Students are not allowed to bring mobile phone, ipods, music systems or any other forms of electronic gadgets to the school. |

Parents are requested to send only toffees to celebrate their child’s birthday. |
| 6. |
Guardians coming to drop their wards should be on time i.e. latest by 07:55 A.M. No students will be allowed entry in to the school after 08:10 A.M. |

Guardians/escorts should carry the Escort Card whenever they come to collect their ward in the afternoon from the school or at the bus stop. This is compulsory for classes Nursery to V. |

Please note that no child may be taken home during school hours unless there is an emergency, in which case the Principal may be approached for permission. |

Incase your child is unwell and not fit enough for class tests, please send a leave note with the Medical Certificate for follow up.. |

Any change in the residential address, telephone number and other details given at the time of admission/mid session should be intimated by a written application to the Students’ Care Executive in the front desk. |

Every student is expected to take part in all school activities. This regulation also applies to such activities that take place beyond the normal school hours and outside the school. |

School is not a place for fashion, therefore, the following are not permitted in school – hair colouring, perming, mehendi, nail polish, body tattoos, kajal, eyeliner, perfumes, deodorants, hair-gel, nose rings, bangles, expensive watches, collyrium. |

You are also requested to be vigilant and keep a check on the kind of literature, CD/DVD being read and viewed by your ward. |

Students are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Each article should be labelled with the student’s name. |

It is compulsory for all students to speck only in English within the school campus. |

It is mandatory for each and every student to bring the school Almanac and the Prayer Book to school daily. In case of loss of Almanac, application along with Rs. 100/- has to be deposited at the Front Office, for issuing a new one. |

Saturdays and Sundays would be holidays. Parents are advised to fix their appointments with teachers on Saturdays marked as T.W (Teachers’ Working) between 08:45 A.M and 11:00 A.M only. Telephonic conversation with teachers during school hours is NOT ALLOWED. Saturdays will be “working days”, to compensate for unforeseen situation (Bandh, Strikes, Water-logging etc.) |
